Bobcat Golf wins A.L.L. Challenge
The Bobcat Women's Golf Team proved once again that they are community leaders as well as strong scholars. The Montana State University Athletic Department started a community service/academic leadership award called the Al Beye Memorial. Teams turn in community service hours and are awarded points based on the number of team members. Team such as football with 80 participants versus golf with 10 participants are awarded points so that everything is equal.
The golf team won the inaugural trophy in 2007 and have just repeated for 2008. The traveling trophy will remain with the golf team. The Spirit Squad finished just over an hour behind us. It was right down to the wire!! All the athletes should be extremely proud of their accomplishments!!
